A restaurant celebrating the legendary glamour and appeal of 1950s Italian culture. Lighting was a key starting point, with a series of vintage Italian lights from the era, which provide much of the character throughout the restaurant. Six areas explore six themes, brought to life by character profiles of different furniture and lighting to create a series of distinct moods. An outdoor area, called Portico, has a series of cabanas that have become an urban retreat, playing host to the city’s higher-energy parties.

The vibrancy of Italian piazza culture such as street performance, shoe cobbling and flower stalls inspired the studio to source various materials with bespoke applications to transport diners to mid-century Italy.
The Show Kitchen area has a more urban feel, inspired by elements of Italian metro stations with terrazzo flooring, tubular furniture and a lighting sculpture that resembles a metro map, made out of steel tubes and glass globe lights.
The terrace is designed to feel like a spacious garden, with plants of various sizes and species throughout. There are cabanas along the perimeter, which feel like semi-private outdoor dining rooms. In the center, there’s a collection of large, deep banquettes arranged back-to-back for a more fun and lively atmosphere.
